Matt is an intern and graduate student in the process of becoming a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. He is enrolled in a Master of Arts program with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy through University of Massachusetts Global (UMass Global, formally Brandman University). He is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as the Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

He is a father and husband, and ever since he was young, he has had a strong passion for psychology and helping others. With a very diverse background from public service, construction, administrative work and over 10 years of active duty military service he has had the privilege to experience and learn about many different industries and gain a multitude of skill sets. After traveling to nine different countries and over half the states in the United States Matt was able to gain exposure to numerous cultures and norms.

Matt believes that we are all traveling a continuing personal journey in life and the self growth, healing, and awareness are essential to everyone's wellbeing. He plans on focusing on therapy for individuals, couples, and families. With direct and indirect experiences, he wants to focus his treatment in trauma, relational work, suicide prevention, and military/veteran personnel.
